Thank you Mike, for your answer! I have a different template but finally I found a solution for me by creating a loop file in my child theme and copying there an aggregate code from the product page. I did work out and now on my shop page the number of the reviews are visible.
I have another question: Is there any possibility to the create a rich snippet with the aggregate rating for all products and to display it on the shop page? Any code to add and where?
Again pretty certain we do this. Have you tested the page with google’s testing tool?
Thank you Mike! I did test my shop page with Google. Before I had made any changes, it had no global aggregate rating of all products on the shop page. Since I added aggregate rating on the loop of every product my shop page shows in the snippet dozen aggregate ratings which is an error for Google. Ideally, I would like to on the shop page:
1) total aggregate rating for all products working correctly for Google;
2) number of reviews for every product shown to my clients.
I now manger to get the 2nd option but not the 1st one. I will grateful if you know how to fix it.
Showing reviews on the shop page vs single product page isn’t ideal IMO. Thats a lot of content to load and show (showing comments). Would require customisation anyway – this isn’t possible out of the box. Look into template overrides.
Hi Mike,
I fully agree that my solution is not ideal and that I really need a customisation. But I am not a professional web-master, I am creating this site for me and I can do myself only very simple basic things like copy-paste, that is it.
That is why I have another question: do you or your company provide customization services I can pay for? If yes, I need your services to achieve on my shop page the following:
1) show the number of reviews for each product next to the stars displayed (without showing the aggregate rating for each of the products);
2) show the aggregate rating correctly displayed in rich snippets for Google of ALL products.
Please let me know if it is possible and how much it may cost. I can pay via Paypal if it is convenient, and will provide you with access to the dashboard.
I don’t but you can try jobs.wordpress.net or https://www.woothemes.com/experts/
