    Hi, If using Afterpay as a payment option I get an error: Sorry, there was a problem preparing your payment. (Error #422: shipping.name address name is required., shipping.countryCode Valid Country Code is required., shipping.postcode Postcode is required., shipping.line1 address line one is required.) I do not have shipping as I drop off at certain points. Is there any way Afterpay works without using shipping details.

    Thanks for your message.

    The team has tested the latest Afterpay plugin with WooCommerce’s built-in ‘local pickup’ option, and confirms that the error cannot be reproduced.

    May I ask what shipping method was used in the described scenario? Is it a third-party plugin? The error should not appear, if the selected shipping method marks the order as not needing shipping address.

    Hi, thanks for fast reply. It works fine for pick up but I charge a fee to drop off at the certain points in which I use the Region as an option for delivery so Afterpay wants shipping address. In the meantime customers have to fill in their shipping address for Afterpay to work which is annoying as we do not deliver to their address. So is there a way to choose delivery but not have to type in shipping address details for Afterpay to work.

    Thanks for your follow-up.

    In the settings of WooCommerce’s latest built-in ‘local pickup’, users are able to set a fixed cost for all pickup locations. You may want to try that, if it is fit for purpose.

    Alternatively, you may need to find a third-party plugin or engage a web developer that can implement the pre-filled shipping address for you. The Afterpay plugin does require a shipping address to process orders, unless the order is marked by WooCommerce as not requiring a shipping address, e.g. virtual products only, or local pickup.
