cURL error 7: Failed to connect to smushpro.wpmudev.org port 443: Connection timed out

I used your plugin on several websites and everything worked fine. Recently I tried to manually smush some more images and discovered that error. You should understand that it’s not users problem that their hoster doesn’t allow 443 port connections, it’s your fault that you changed the port and what previously worked fine, now doesn’t work.

    Hey @rinart73,

    Hope you’re well.

We didn’t change anything related API connections for the recent versions. So this can be because of your recent changes maybe. Did you move your website from HTTP to HTTPS recently? Did you contact hosting provider about that cURL error?

    Cheers,
    Oguz
