  • Resolved Maksym’sDesign

Today the WP 5.5 update came up.
    I was excited… but not for long…
My responsive menu button do not work anymore!
They just do not show up.
At the editing page they are here! But that’s it!
When you open the website – there’s NOTHING. Just empty fields!
    SAD but true…

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @maksymsdesign ,

I’ve checked on my lab site, but updating to WP 5.5 didn’t break the Forminatros forms.
I had a look on your website and it seems that your theme is throwing a JS error – this type of error can affect other elements on site that are using JS scripts.
I suggest checking with the default WordPress theme if the issue is gone.
Most probably you will need to contact your theme developer to fix the error.

    kind regards,

    Hello Kasia,
thank you for your fast response!

It seems like the template “i-amaze” is written with mistakes and not compatible with the new WP5.5. ‘Cause on my other websites Forminator and responsive menu button – both work properly!
Hope, i-amaze team will customize it soon, meanwhile I should unfortunately roll back to the previous WP-version.

    Have a nice day!
    Thank you

    Hey again,

I guess in my case just the installation process somehow went wrong.
I restored an old version via CCP, then renewed i-amaze 1.3.1, and then WP-5.5 over it.
    And it worked!
    Unfortunately it took some time…

    Have a nice day!
    Best regards 🙂

    Hi @maksymsdesign

    Thank you for the update.

I can see the forms are working now, I made some extra tests but couldn’t replicate the issue, but we will keep eyes on the plugin and the 5.5 update.

    Best Regards
    Patrick Freitas
