    The exact error I am getting is:

    The specified file "default-event-avatar.png" doesn't exist.

    I have to remove the folder in order to get the admin to work.

    That file exists in public/ai1ec/vortex/img but it does not exist in the other 3 themes: gamma, plana, and umbra. I don’t remember what theme I’m using and I could not find where in the database that might be stored. I tried copying the file from vortex to the other 3 img folders and it still didn’t work.

  • Hi Tim, I guess not. I only see “Gamma 2.0.0”, “Plana 2.0.0”, “Umbra 2.0.0” and “Vortex 2.0.0” themes.
    I have activated the “Gamma” theme.

    I just updated the plugin today and I am not getting this same error. While to plugin directory is IN the plugins dir, none of the admin pages works. If I move the plugin directory out of the plugins dir, the admin pages works again. The error flashes by the screen and says the default-event-avatar.png doesn’t exit. I only see it in the

    ./plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/public/themes-ai1ec/vortex/img/default-event-avatar.png

    directory.

    Please help!
    Thank you,
    Peter.

    Here is the fixed that worked for my error:

    I commented out line #54 in all-in-one-event-calendar.php (v2.3.12) to get it working again. I hate to leave it that way but I hope you can fix it soon.
    Line # 54: //return $ai1ec_exception_handler->show_notices( $soft_disable_message );

    Does this work for your particular issue?
