after upgrading ecommerce plugin my shopping cart is gone!

Hi there,
I updated my ecommerce plugin in wordpress yesterday and afterwards the shopping cart dissappeared. Now, when I click on “add to cart”, no cart shows up in the sidebar so it is impossible to order product.
