After upgrade, unable to log in – Service Temporarily Unavailable
-
Hi there,
I have recently started using WordPress for a voluntary organisations website. I am in the process of building it for them and was just finishing off choosing some plugins and making some custom edits for them.
I have run into an issue since WordPress auto-updated to 3.8.1 where I cannot log in via wp-admin. I receive the following message:
Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
I then refresh the page, so it prompts me to ask if i would like to re-submit information, to which I agree. This time it goes through and all behaves like normal.
Things I have tried:
- Disabling my theme
- Enabling the default theme
- Disabling all plugins
- Replacing the login.php page
So as im not too familiar with WordPress, I thought I’d ask the community for some advice. I have seen a couple of posts on other forums leading toward a complete re-install of WordPress, just keeping my content and themes.
Any Bright ideas? 🙂
