    Hi
Did an upgrade from 2.1 to latest version
The upgrade via fantastico created a new database
When I set the config.php to the old database, I recieved the message:
‘Your database is out-of-date. Please upgrade.’
Can someone please inform me what I do now to retrieve my old site? I have everything backed up

When I try to go into admin I get the message:

The requested URL /wordpress/wp-admin/upgrade.php was not found on this server.

I was using http://www.mysite.com/wordpress, BUT with the fantastico install, the wordpress files go straight into the public_html folder, so I can use just http://www.mysite.com to view my blog

I will now try transferring the /wordpress/wp-admin/upgrade.php across to see if it works, but I gather some how I have to now tell wordpress to ditch the /wordpress prefix, is this correct?

ok, worked it out, went to wp-admin/options.php and just got rid of the /wordpress prefix whereever I saw it
