I found that line 7. What can be wrong with it?
class Hugeit_Slider_Slider implements Hugeit_Slider_Slider_Interface {
@bela77bela , we are sorry about this. Is there any chance you could name your php version, please? Looks like the issue is coming from old version of php.
Hi, I have the same problem
Fatal error: Declaration of Hugeit_Slider_Slider::__construct() must be compatible with that of Hugeit_Slider_Slider_Interface::__construct() in /mnt/glusterfs/apache/hosting-dir/180292/user_dir/… /wp-content/plugins/slider-image/includes/class-hugeit-slider-slider.php on line 7
Please, help
@linkgua-digital we are sorry about that. Seems the issue is coming wiht really old versions of php. We have made a fix, but still testing it over here. If you are willing to help with the test, you may email us using the contact us form on our page or text on our Facebook page and we will send you a zip with the fix. Otherwise, the new version shall be ready in the repository during the next 24 hours.
Unless you include 7.0.14 in “old versions of PHP” I don’t think that is the problem.
I was using PHP 5.6.29 and had the problem after upgrading slider to 4.0.0, so reverted to Slider 3.2.3.
I then upgraded to PHP 7.0.14; upgraded Slider again to 4.0.0 and the same problem appeared.
I am now back to Slider 3.2.3 on PHP 7.0.14, and that is working fine.
I am happy to run any tests that might help. Email: admin @kiwitrees.net. Slider is on my front page at http://www.kiwitrees.net
Dear users,
Thank you for contacting us.
We don’t want to commit frequent updates over here, this is why we suggest the beta version of the upcoming update to be downloaded from our GitHub project. The other reason is that we are still testing the reported fatal error that happens to appear on websites with really older version of PHP. Otherwise, the update will become available on WordPress during the next 48 hours, until we finalize the issue. As for now, you could help us with the test.
Please, follow the link to download the file:

In the case of additional questions, please, let us know
Thank you
Thanks. I have now downloaded the github master version. But it does not fix the problem – at least not the one I am having.
As stated above, following testing yesterday I do not believe the PHP version is causing the problem.
After installing 4.0.0 my sliders are not displayed in the config page, but they do still exist in the database (thank goodness!).
Reverting to the previous version of slider fixes the issue.
PHP still at 7.0.14.
@kiwi3685,@linkgua-digital, @bela77bela
could we ask you kindly to update to the 4.0.1, the very latest version. Let us know if this fixes the issue. The problem is hidden in the migration of the database and seems some users with their specific hosting configurations face the mentioned errors of Slider. We keep an eye on every single issue and trying to help ASAP
Sadly, no. 4.0.1 does not make a difference.
I may be confusing issues by adding my issue to this thread though. Perhaps I shoulld have posted a new topic.
I see NO error messages (I have checked server logs). Simply, the existing sliders are no longer visible either in config or front end.
Dear kiwi3685,
Thank you for the updates.
In this case, please, send us an email to info [at] huge-it.com and we will try to fix it with developers.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you
