    Hi,

after posting this in the “installation” section, I figured, probably this “troubleshooting” section would be more appropriate, so let me repeat the problem.

After I updated to 2.7. from 2.3.? in Jan. 09,, I found mostly everything working fine (which surprised me actually) only one small thing, that didn’t work:

The problem occurs in the admin panel, in about 3-4 different places.
Under settings-> general settings the “save changes” button, when I click it, it saves the changes (I checked that, multiple times) but the URL that gets called after that is wrong, because the browser reports “server not found”.

Then, when I go “edit posts” or “edit pages”, the first page of the list of my posts or pages comes up, and above on the right it says “displaying 1-15 of 45″(post in this case) and lets say I want to see the second page of this list, click on the “2” button results in the same error message as above, “server not found” by the browser.

Now, hovering the mouse over this “2” button, shows an address in the status bar of the browser, that is obviously wrong:
    http://wordpress/wp-admin/edit.php?paged=2

my wordpress installation is in folder “wordpress”, so
    the correct URL would be:
    http://mydomain/wordpress/wp-admin/edit.php?paged=2

How does that happen? And how can I change it? Any idea anyone?
It isn’t a big deal actually, but I want to install a plugin, where this error (resulting in “server not found”) keeps me from accessing the functionality of the plugin.

So any help or idea will be really appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your time

    Dieter
