After update to 2.5.1 Menus no longer work

Just updated to Elementor (free) 2.5.1 – Now my menus are completely broken. This is really quite bad and annoying. Can you help, please? If I deactivate Elementor, the page breaks but the menu items are back to normal.
I am using a fully updated version of WP5.1 I need rapid help.
