    Hi,
    I’ve just updated the plugin but now it doesn’t send any email, how can I fix it? Any idea?

  • I am having the same issue. Everything was working fine, but recently it won’t send the notifications automatically. However, if I manually “resend notifications” it works immediately.

    Hi @arantzazu and @jmitcham,

    If you’ve checked that your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely due to incorrect server setting, or strict email spam prevention settings. strict email spam prevention settings that is wrongly detecting the notification emails as spam.

    To resolve email delivery issue like this, you could configure a SMTP plugin on your site so emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    Hi Ethan, we initially thought that was the issue as well. However, I reverted your plugin to an earlier version without changing anything else and it immediately started working again.

    I will hold off on updating the plugin in the future until I hear that the bug causing notifications to not be sent is resolved.

    I began to realize it was a bug in the plugin when I could manually resend the notifications with no problem, but they would not send automatically for some reason. This showed me that obviously there was not a problem with my SMTP or the notification settings since it would not send manually either of that were the case.
