After update 1.6 to 2.1 category select not working

    After updating Elementor Pro the shortcodes no longer work and are ignored. All team-members show up not the selected by category. Not very reliable. Troubleshooting / debugging is not possible.

    Also the the existing short codes no longer work. They ignore the catergory filter set on the existing short code

    Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear about your experience. We apologize that our plugin’s latest version did not satisfy you. We are not sure why it is not working for you. In the plugin’s latest version, you can quickly generate your shortcode with categories.

    If you have some time please check out the latest feature of the plugin. we hope you can easily manage your team shortcode via the options page.

    Hi,
    Just checking version 1.6. In our old version of the plugin, you can’t select multiple team categories but on the latest version now you can choose multiple categories of team members simultaneously.

    Thanks I can select all shortcodes and remove them and recreate each one of them, which is kind of a pain.

    Team categories? do you mean Team groups?

    Can’t you send me a sql query that corrects the erroneous Team shortcodes after an update from 1.6 to 2.1?

    If I recreate the Shortcodes I have to choose a Team Theme as well. We used Team Theme 4. Did this change as well? There is no longer a globe (fa fa-globe) but a an apperent non existing fa fa-dribble icon for the url. It this by (new) design? Can I change this somewhere?

    Even after creating shortcodes new the result of [tmfshortcode id=”2515″] is still _all_ teams members not the one in the category. Shortcodes stopped working in 2.1 where they were fine in 1.6.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply. No need to remove or recreate the shortcode again. You can simply update your previous shortcode with the latest version. Yes, Team categories mean team groups.

    We check all the issues compared to the old version and let you know as soon as possible.

    Every theme Style remains the same as previously but we just adjust some CSS. You can select the same Theme 4 If you want.
