  • @petrosweb If you have access to your site via FTP or from your hosting providers control panel can you access the AMP plugin directory and rename the folder? (ie. Change /wp-content/plugins/amp to /wp-content/plugins/_amp)

Please check whether that allows you to access your site. The above will stop the AMP plugin from running, allowing you to debug.

If you are encountering database issues you can use phpmyadmin from your hosting control panel to repair your database. Alternatively add define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true); to your wp-config.php file before accessing the following from your site URL: /wp-admin/maint/repair.php

@jamesosborne Thank you very much for your response. Unfortunately your suggestions didn’t fix the issue. Any other ideas?

Is it possible to find out have changes have been made to the database with the update?

@petrosweb If you’ve disabled the AMP plugin and are unable to access your WordPress dashboard there could be a number of reasons why you are encountering issues. AMP is disabled, so there may be issues with your WordPress setup or other plugins.

Can you try the suggestions in this support topic?

@petrosweb Were you able to successfully access your site after following the suggested steps?
