same issue for me. site https://sobbanglay.com
It is asking for Database upgrade also which is not possible for now. Is there anyway to role back the update? (I did not take any manual backup).
Same here, except that i am unable to update the plugin. I guess I got lucky…
Hi, I found the fix for my Problem. Delete the plugin (best via ftp) and upload the old version via FTP. You can find the old version here: https://documentation.laborator.co/kb/kalium/advanced-custom-fields-5-x-problem/
hope that helps you as well
I had the same problem. Used update Database option in the backend in the Advanced Custom Fields menu. That solved it for me. May be better than downgrading the version.

Hi @julius35 thank you for your answer. I tried that first. Than I even bought the Pro Version and tried again etc. etc. nothing did the magic but downgrading. Have to wait till Kalium theme updates to the new version, but I actually agree with the Kalium developer shooting from Version 4.4.12 straight to 5.7.6. is quite something for all the theme developer using the plugin in their fields, and not really building my trust in the plugin.
Ugh, this just happened to me. Restoring the old ACF files did not work. How do you update the database? I don’t see any “update Database option in the backend in the Advanced Custom Fields menu”? I have Pro. This seems to only be affecting my repeater fields…
Hi @kilikoi, I followed the steps to downgrade the ACF plugin, but no success. Did you have to restart your server? any extra steps after the downgrade?
Thanks!
BT
Hi @btuser,
I am sorry to hear that. The trick for me was really deleting the updated plugin via ftp, not through the wordpress backend and then uploading the old plugin. No sever restart or any further steps needed on my site.
Hope that helps.
