  • I have a same problem when using modal template it is stuck on pop up modal with green successful login notification. Please help me how I can fix this. thank you in advance.

Have your tried to toggle the modal option to another option and then test the feature? You can also deactivate and reactivate the plugin. Sometimes core or other updates cause the plugin to temporarily fail. Clear your cache and ensure you are “logged out everywhere else” as the user when you test the functionality every time. If the user is not being logged out, you didn’t set up the page correctly.

This problem occurs just when modal is active default and div only work good. I do not know if this is helpful for troubleshooting the issue or not but I get this errors in google chrome consul:

JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
2jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2 Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: .
    at Function.ea.error (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
    at ea.tokenize (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
    at Function.ea (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
    at Function.a.find (jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.4.1:2)

    at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
    at x (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:4)

The error indicates a syntax error i.e. there is text or characters not understood by the function being run. Are you writing a script or just using the plugin’s functionality?

I’m just using the plugin in modal mood and It is stuck so I see the page errors in consul which are related to jquery things of this plugin but I do not have any knowledge about this matter! Thank you for your attention anyway I appreciate.

Yes, I am familiar with the plugin and its modal mode. My suggestion would be similar to Sata2z on the uninstall if you are experiencing this issue. Otherwise, the following steps as indicated before are in your hands for troubleshooting:

    1. Clear all cache in your browser
    2. When you log into Admin, check user settings and determine whether all users are logged out.
    3. If you created url for redirect on login and logout in the plugin’s settings, check them and determine if they are correct in character (text).
    4. If you have a page with logout shortcode in it, check it or trash it and recreate it.
    5. Deactivate and reactivate the plugin and then retry the steps above.
    6. If all else fails uninstall the plugin and find a new one or reinstall it to ensure the install was clean.

    Thank you very much @susanfla2
I could figure it out! The problem was “Disable refresh upon login?” option in plugin setting. I unchecked that button and the problem was solved!
I have another question about how to show user’s login/out status on a website main menu button and make it works as starter of LWA modal. I’m sure somebody somewhere has done this before me since I can see several people have asked about that in this forum! Do you have any suggestion for this too!?

I never considered using the Disable Refresh option for the plugin. You obviously have a specific reason why you would want to disable it on login.

Sorry can’t help you on the other issue.

Well I think you use ajax powered tool to do things smoothly inside the web page so when I wasn’t going to add any specific redirect rule for each user, It’s natural to disable refresh option beside that I used to only use div mood before and everything was good until I decided to change to modal mood.

I’d suggest trying it with my other plugin WP Safe Mode active, and just WP and LWA active with a default theme (you can activate this only for yourself to test).

Chances are it’s a Javascript conflict with your theme or a plugin.

Otherwise, a link to your site might be helpful, to see the problem in action.
