After Publishing post the post didn't appears on the home page

    To reduce speed of my website i’ve installed and configured w 3 total cache on my website. The speed reduced but, there are few problems occurring now.
    1. Whenever i post a new post it doesn’t appears on the home page right away
    2. can you suggest how to optimize images for the website i’ve tried everything and i’m using Smush.it so if you can suggest me something good that would be great.
