After posting comment, refresh page is slow

    Hi,
    Has anyone experienced a problem where after posting a comment on a blog, the page takes 30-40 seconds to refresh?
    And if I press F5 to refresh it, it refresh immediately and the comment is actually posted without any problem.
    Any idea?

    Could you please disable all plugins, delete your browser’s cache and try on different browser?

    This sounds like a site specific issue, but we have to rule out plugins/themes first.

    Hi, I found out something.
    The slowness only happens when I comment as guest visitor.
    If I am logged in, then it won’t happen.

    Are you using some anti spam plugin? If it is a guest, I supposed it might be doing some spammer check?

    Hi, I have disabled Antispam Bee plugin, so it shouldn’t be the root cause.

    Hi, I found the root cause though I don’t know what the solution is.
    If I turn off email notification (for new posts or posts that require moderation), then the problem will go away.
