    Hi,

    I have a question regarding your PayPal Plugin.
    Everything is set up correctly but there is still occuring a strange problem from time to time.

    How to reproduce the error:
    – Put item in cart
    – Navigate to cart -> checkout
    – Fill in all necessary details and click ‘Mit PayPal zahlen’
    – Log into PayPal Account via PopUp and finish the transaction
    – PopUp closes but there is no redirect to the ‘checkout – finished – page’ happening

    There is no JS / PHP Error happening & it seems to happen in every browser
    The log in WooCommerce / Status / Logs / PayPal shows no sign of error (tested via the log from yesterday because there is an empty log for today which is strange)
    No money is removed from the Account (which is good).
    Appereantly the order is only created after the user is redirected to the ‘checkout finished’ page ? Can you confirm that ?

    Do you have any clue what could cause this problem ? Because there is no order created beforehand and the log files show no signs of error it’s really hard to debug that problem.

    Hi @spinndevs – sorry for the delay. I’ve not been able to duplicate this issue, nor have I been able to find any similar issues.

    The best way to debug this now is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.
