• I couldn’t log into my wordpress site so had to change the password. When I did so and logged in I got to a page showing my Profile and if I wanted to edit it or not.

The left menu bar is empty aside from the Dashboard and Profile options. When I click on dashboard at the top, I get a empty dotted-line box where the dashboard should be, and then two widgets on the right side of WordPress Blog and Other WordPress News.

I can’t figure out where all my posts and plug-ins and everything have gone. My blog is still accessible and functional however I just can’t enter into the back side of it.

    The site is: blog.seth-caplan.com
And I usually go here to log in: http://blog.seth-caplan.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.seth-caplan.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    Thanks so much.

  • It sounds as though your account is just a subscriber, and not an admin. Are you sure you reset your password and didn’t register as a user?

Yes, I used to have full access to my blog as the admin, all the posts on the blog are mine that I put on there and everything. I’m not sure what I might have done to not have any of the information t here anymore or not be able to access it now…

Are you sure there isn’t another username or email address to which the admin account of your site was associated ?

I think I was trying it out correctly, but will check again with username/email address thanks!
