I have migrated from Pirate Forms to WP-Forms, and enabled Google reCaptcha on my site’s contact form. But no recaptcha ever appears on the form and attempts to submit a message result only the error “Sorry, an error occured.”

I have registered and saved in the plugin settings a new site key and private key, and have attempted to use both the check-box reCaptcha and the invisible reCaptcha. Neither work. The div for the reCaptcha is created in the form, but it’s entirely empty.

I’m using Zerif and have tried both using the default form in the customizer, and replacing that with a WP-Forms shortcode. Neither works.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I should add that I finally got the form working (as it is on the page at present) by using the form builder in the Customizer and *not* using any reCaptcha.

    Hi bhammondcvl,

I’m sorry for the trouble with this! When you’re able to, could you share a link to a page on your site where the form is embedded (with reCAPTCHA enabled)?

I was not able to view the form that is created with WPForms on the URL you’ve provided for further troubleshooting.

Please let me know. Thanks! 🙂

I have put the contact form shortcode on a separate page, and it seems to work fine:

So probably the problem is with Zerif’s frontpage contact section, and not the WP-Forms plugin.
