    Hi,

I have just ran the latest update for the Polylang plugin on the above mentioned website and… I have no longer access to the WP dashboard!

    It shows:
    Error thrown
    Class ‘PLL_Wizard’ not found

Any ideas how to solve this. I cannot use UpdraftPlus to go activate revert to backup made earlier this morning. I can upload things via FTP if needed.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,

    TEMPORARY SOLUTION
    1. via FTP or cPanel file manager or a WordPress file editor plugin, find and edit the following file: /wp-content/plugins/polylang/admin/admin-base.php
    2. add two slashes to the beginning of line 59 so that it looks like this:
    //$this->wizard = new PLL_Wizard( $this );
    3. save the file and refresh your admin
    4. wait for the plugin author to release an update

NOTE: restoring back to a previous version of the plugin is also fine…

    Hello,

Sorry for the mess. I made a mistake with the svn manipulation while sending the update of the version 2.7 to wordpress.org.

Hopefully, it is now fixed with the version 2.7.0.1. At least, I don’t have the fatal error with a version downloaded from wordpress.org.

A new version may always come with new bugs. But we have thorougly tested it during the 4 past weeks of beta tests. Nobody external to the Polylang team reported any issue. The unfortunate issue that we had on wp.org was due to missing files.

The changelog is available here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/#developers

@rederstreet You did not rolled back to the 2.6.10. As this version never refers to PLL_Wizard. Remove the directory polylang from FTP and install the plugin the usual way (from the plugins directory).
