    Hi,

After the last update, I noticed that the tax is not set to zero after entering a VAT number. Instead, it is reduced to a value close to zero: for example from 77.76 € to 0.36 €. It seems to be a rounding error.

I am using the new block-based checkout, and I also have the WPML multi-currency plugin enabled. The issue occurs in all currencies.

Here is a video demonstrating the issue: https://share.cleanshot.com/fqh6vZjX

    Best regards,
    David

    Hi David,

Thank you for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well.

I’ve reviewed your video and checked your site, but it seems this issue is specific to your setup. I’ve tested the latest version (4.0.0) on my store, and everything is working fine and the vat amount removed totally.

To help identify the cause on your end, please review your WooCommerce tax rate settings and ensure no rows were accidentally added. If you suspect it might be a compatibility issue, feel free to open a ticket via our support email (support@wpfactory.com), and we’ll investigate further to resolve this closely.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with.

Update: We figured out that the issue wasn’t related to our plugin. I’m marking the ticket as resolved.
