    There is now a flash before the the page is displayed that reads;

    “Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /….”

    If I disable Yoast Version 11.6 the problem goes away. Did not happen before this update.

    Update: I just reloaded the folder for “Yoast Version 11.5” all runs well, so will stick with v11.5 till I hear of bug fixes.

    Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.2.2? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

    If you update to the most current version of WordPress, does this resolve the issue?

    If the issue is still occurring after confirming both Yoast SEO and WordPress are updated, this may be due to a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

    If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    Since many people are having the exact same issue and the problem only started after the update I do not see it being my setup. However here is what I’m Running;

    WordPress Version 5.2.2
    MySQL Version 5.6.41
    PHP Version 7.1.1
    Working YOST Version 11.5

    YOST always worked before, and only since this update to 11.6 has there been a issue.

    Hi,

    We apologize for the difficulties you are having with the plugin. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v11.7? We released a new version today. If you are using that version does the issue resolve?

    If not, were you able to perform that conflict check as described here http://kb.yoast.com/article/253-how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts? Does the issue still happen if Yoast is the only plugin active and your theme is 2019?

    Exact Same Issue with version 11.7. Since several people are having the same issue since upgrading I am sure enough debug information will come in to at some point to get it back to being the stable product it always was before this 11.6/7 nightmare.

    Found the fix from other people having the same issue.. since this effected so many people I would think the Answer should of came from Yoast…

    “I went into the “Search Appearance” settings for Yoast. I set myself as the “person” that the site represents. you need pick a WP account for the Personal Info / Name part that this upgrade leaves blank and creates the error.

    The code/error went away.

    Hi,

    We apologize that we were not able to recognize the issue and offer a resolution right away. However, we are glad that the issue is now resolved. As the issue is now resolved, we will mark this as fixed in order to keep the overview.
