I did an import of “daily food specials” starting on Sunday, May 29 and going to Saturday, July 16 (49 entries, 7 weeks of 7 daily specials).
The import did take some time but it imported with no errors and a successful “49 entries were added” message was displayed.
Each individual event seems fine when you look at them, but when you look at the monthly calendar view, it has backed up the events and put them on the day BEFORE the event.
In other words, the Monday specials are being shown as Monday Specials but on SUNDAY.
Weirdly they SHOW the correct DATE when you mouse over the event, the single event shows the correct date also, it is just that they are DISPLAYED on the calendar ONE DAY EARLIER.
Does anyone have thoughts on how that happened and what to do to prevent it?
    Thanks in advance!

NOTE: In an attempt to ensure visitors aren’t confused, I went in and individually changed each daily event till June 5, so the calendar view shows CORRECT until you move to the month of June. The mistake shows up from June 6 on.
I believe it has something to do with my CSV event file. I had marked each event as being an ALL DAY EVENT but did not include an END DATE in the CSV file. When I go in and edit each event, it shows up as starting on one day but finishing on the day BEFORE.
Would that mess up the import (not having an end date in the CSV file)?

    Hi @greymouse,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to hear that you’re having this issue here. Let me help you with this one. Appreciate you providing us more information here. Let’s see what we can do.

I suspect there’s a date/time format mismatch between the content of the CSV file. Could you double-check WP Settings and The Events Calendar settings if they are set correctly? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/setting-dates-and-times/

It might also be caused by the Timezone setting. It would be good if you could as well check. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/working-with-time-zones/

Let me know how it goes and try it again, if that fixes the issue. I’d be glad to help you out further.

    Best,
    Abz

    Thanks for your reply.
I’ll check both of those options to see if that is the issue.
Before I try to fix and possibly make an even bigger problem could you please let me know if there will be any issues that will come up like duplicate or multiple events if I RE-import a corrected CSV file?
    Much appreciated…

Hi @greymouse, no worries, we’re here to help. Good to know; please do try it out.

There shouldn’t be a problem/issue when done correctly. See the article here on how to duplicate events safely:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/how-to-clone-an-event-safely/

Keep me posted, and I’d be glad to help you out further.
