After cloning a page, the permalink manager adds automatic numbering to the url

When I try to duplicate a page, even if the page’s title are changed, the permalink manager lite just uses the old page’s url with added “-2” to the end of it, Although I manually input the url to be different than the original page’s url.
Am using Yoast Duplicate Post to clone the pages. Btw using without permalink manager lite in another site, the url seems to change to the new title of the page.

To prevent Permalink Manager from duplicating/cloning the custom permalink please add “custom_uri” to “Do not copy these fields” in “Duplicate Post Options“:
wp-admin/options-general.php?page=duplicatepost
Please keep in mind that Permalink Manager by default uses unique native slugs, which may have a “-2” suffix appended if the original post used the same slug:
