• i’d like to see what can be done aside of creating a sql query to grab userids and pur usermetas about “primary_blog = 1” on each of them.

i created a multisite installation, and imported all my users from vBulletin installations => WordPress… more than 22000 users with the whole stuff…

they show in the users list of the main blog, but not in the users list of the network side. but the count is there.

and in buddypress, same thing, not a single user aside of the admin and the new users generated after the import.

i search a solution… not only for me, because i can do it via sql, but there is something that can help other admins that could come in that situation in the future, with bbpress and buddypress used more often lately ??

  • oh, btw, for the ones asking, this is NOT a bbpress bug, but a WordPress Network bug.

How did you import these users? did you post on http://buddypress.org/support

i imported everything via bbPress import… imported to the main blog.

it’s not about buddypress, as buddypress is just using core functions to display the content. actually, when listing users via BP *(because WP does not have that by default), BP is showing “active” users, which is ok, there is only one active user until they log in or post, i don’t know the status of active users… all the users show when selecting to view users alphabetically though… because that script does not check activeness of the users.

i think i resolved it myself but its not global… listing “active” users only is not the way to do it if there is no indication whatsoever…
