    Hello,

i just made a full backup with backup guard (latest version) and later decided after some tweaking which didnt work out to restore it to this backup. However now it states: Error establishing a database connection

and in the wp-admin One or more database tables are unavailable. The database may need to be repaired.

I tried to restore it but it didnt work. Later i checked if the db login was ok (via testconnection.php) and i am connected, so these work.

I tried to delete some plugins and restore some wordpress files (they might have been corrupted) but that did not work.

Could you help me fix this problem? Thank you Jeroen

i got the awnser.. after the restore it seemed in the phpmyadmin -> database for wordpress -> wp_options

somehow the option_name: siteurl was not there anymore….

otherwise i could use the option to update the siteurl

    so i inserted option_id: 1 option_name: siteurl option_value: my website including http://www.xxx.extension

Then i could restore the database and i could login again via wp-admin.

The backup guard file showed it was corrupt. So i made the site over again. Luckily i had the css saved haha so was 1 hour work to get it running again. However it was nice -_- stressed me out a bit.

    Regards
