• In the Dashboard, I click on Plugins, Add New, and it goes immediately to a page with this error message:

“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

I’ve already print-screened the error and sent it to AllCheapWeb, which did the automated WordPress instal.

If anybody thinks there’s an easy way to fix this, please let me know; because I am counting down to demanding a hosting refund, and closing the site — what site, there is none and can be none with a corrupted instal.

    Thanks.

  • Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Your host should be able to assist you with this.
