Sorry for not coming back to you sooner, didn’t receive any notification of your support ticket.
What are your PHP and WordPress versions? And what other plugins do you use?
I too had this issue.
running WP 4.2
PHP 5.3.20
Plugins:
Breadcrumb NavXT
Custom SIdebars Manager
Cyclone Slider 2
Display Posts Shortcode
Easy MailChimp Forms
Events Manager
Flickr Justified Gallery
Google Analytics Dashboard for WP
MailChimp for WordPress lite
Page Builder by SiteOrigin
Posts in SIdebar
Smart Forms
WooCommerce
WP Statistics
All plugins are up to date
when plugin activated, both the front end and the back end whitescreened – nothing anywhere.
I can’t reproduce your situation. Can help me by setting define('WP_DEBUG', false);
in /wp-config.php to define('WP_DEBUG', true);
for a second. Then upload that file, activate the plugin and copy/paste all the error’s that you see in a reply. Then you can undo the the changes in wp-config.php and upload that file again.
If you don’t see any errors, try adding define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
after the WP_DEBUG line and refresh the page. A file named debug.log
containing PHP errors should be generated in /wp-content/. You can post the content of that file in a reply here and remove the WP_DEBUG_LOG line again.
I will do this tonight when I know my client won’t be looking at her site, since she’ll not be happy when it goes blank.
Happy to help.
It turned out PHP had some scope issues on versions below 5.4. I have updated the plugin. Please let me know if the update solves your problem.
