    Hi,

    “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.” is very common message. Could you please open your hosting panel and find there PHP Errors log? You can check there latest errors and find real issue message. Copy it here please.

    In most cases this situation means that it is not enough RAM. You was close to the limit and new plugin just fill it to the limit. But ofc I could be wrong. Without error message it is hard to tell.
