after activating litespeed plugin the website is actually much slower

    Hi,

    I use Litespeed on my server, but after I activate this plugin, and use its page optimization features, the website becomes slow, in a very visible way, for everybody.
    I use it on many websites, 40+, and it happens to all of them.
    This should make loading faster, not slower. So what is the problem? If I disable the plugin the website is less ‘optimized’, but it’s actually faster. The slowdown is big enough to make me think quitting Litespeed.

    What am I doing wrong? I would rather prefer loading the first visible part of the website faster, so the user doesn’t have to wait looking at a blank screen, than loading the whole page at once (as it now happens). The perceived waiting time is bigger when the whole page is loaded

    Please provide with more specific information.

    like what was average loading time BEFORE and AFTER ?

    and also please provide the report number , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click “send to LiteSpeed”

    well, it is really happening on every website I activate page optimization, so actual numbers don’t really make sense, and I don’t really have them. But, with Litespeed on, it takes too many seconds to load a page.

    Hi,

    the reported site , it loads in less than 2 seconds on my Chrome , this is not really classify as “many seconds”

    you can simply compare with dev tool, loading time with and without cache plugin enabled , let me know what is the number on both sides you see
