After 4.7 update network fails with undefined wp_get_current_user()
-
Wordpress has been installed and running fine for some time.
This evening, I:
– updated to 4.7
– updated the network
– updated plugins Jetpack, and Photo Gallery
– installed Constant Contact Forms
Everything to this point appeared to be going okay.I then clicked Network Install (or what ever the button says on plugin install after installation completes). I got this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /home/johnst12/public_html/blog/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 522
I now see that error if I try to select any items from the Network menu or if I click “View Details” from any plug-in on my Blog’s installed plug-ins pave. The blog itself appears to be okay, and I can look at the admin dashboard of the two sites on the network.
It appears most likely there was an error when updating 4.7 with the network???
