  • simorame,
The link are not laid out like a regular URL, so you might not see the Affiliate ID.

If you want to make 100% sure you will get credit for any link, login to your Amazon account and there is a ‘Link Checker’ in the links and banners tab. Paste the URL there and it will tell you if you will get proper credit.

    Warmest regards,
    Don

Thanks a lot Don. I did as you suggested and found out the links produced by Amazon Product in a Post Plugin on my website are exactly the same as the Amazon ones, with no affiliation.

The plugin settings seem alright. I have inserted my affiliation ID (for the Amazon Italy store) and the API settings test is ok, but for some reason the links produced do not contain my affiliation ID.

Is there anything else I should check?

Can you send me a link to your site where the products are located so I can see them?

If you don’t want to post in the forum, send to plugins@fischercreativemedia.com.

    Warm regards,
    Don

Hi Don, I have just sent you an e-mail to plugins@fischercreativemedia.com.

Just to let everybody know, thanks to Don it turned out that the problem with the Amazon links being stripped of my Amazon affiliate ID was caused by one of my Chrome extensions – ImageFlow for Amazon – PictureFox 1.51 – therefore not a plugin issue.

    Simorame –
    Thanks for the follow-up update.

    Regards,
    Don
