Support » Plugin: Pixel Caffeine » aepc rows in wp_options

  • I installed and removed Pixel Caffeine some time ago. I have just noticed a significant number of entries in my wp_options table with the prefix aepc. I am assuming these are for Pixel Caffeine and that I can safely delete those, yes?

Given that these are also autoloaded entries, it’s unfortunate that these were not removed when I deactivared and deleted the plugin. Is that expected behavior?

    Hi,

sorry for the delay on my response. The plugin doesn’t have any task during the uninstall process, so the options were not removed after you removed the plugin.

Anyway, it’s really weird that you have a significant number of entries, the plugin uses only a few options and 3 transients, there shouldn’t be more.
Could you please give me a list of the entries you have or share an SQL file with the results of the query select * from wp_options where option_name like '%aepc_%'.

    Thank you.

Thank you for the response. I am seeing 33 rows in all, all of which are autoload. Here’s a screenshot of those.

I also have two tables I assume I can delete (please confirm):

    wp_aepc_custom_audiences
    wp_aepc_logs

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

yes, you can remove all aepc_ options and the two tables.
In this way, you will remove everything related to the plugin. So then, if you will want to install it again, the plugin will start as a fresh install.
