advice on wordpress build and plug ins please

    Hi

    I am after advice on a wordpress build I am planning but I want confirmation that what I am planning to use will do the job. What I am attempting here is a proof of concept build before I spend the real money on getting a custom built site.
    The following is a theoretical situation (before I get all the advice that the service isnt needed) and is assuming there are many different preschools registered to our service.

    The premise of the website (theoretical):
    A preschool registers itself to our service through the website, then registers the names of each child they have in their care.
    They then receive a client portal that lists all the children’s names and the dates they were registered.
    When a parent needs to contact the preschool regarding their child, they come to our website, fill out a contact form.
    Based on the name of the student, the contact form is converted to PDF format and posted to the appropriate preschools client area.
    The preschool logs into their client area and views the PDF.

    I realise that all the features of this would be impossible without (probably) extensive customisation, so to start with I expect to do some parts manually, such as:
    * create and maintain the list of registered children’s names in the client portal. Matching these by searching the database.
    * receive and upload the PDF to the appropriate client portal.

    I am thinking that I can get the wordpress build up and running using the following plug ins:
    * Shopping Cart: Marketpress or woocommerce – but not too sure how to setup 2 different payments (yearly fee when registering preschool + yearly fee per child)
    * Client area: WP-Client http:// or Membership2
    * Possibly ninja forms or something similar for the contact form
    * Support ticket: open to suggestions

    Can anyone who is experienced in this platform tell me if this will work ok or not.

    That sounds to me like an online answering service, all of that is doable and maybe you are aware of a certain niche here. However, you have several privacy and security matters to address and handle there, and especially with the personal info of children being involved. So, none of that seems very practical or even needed unless the preschools are looking to outsource certain record keeping.

    Ok as the original post clearly states, it is a theoretical business 🙂

    Im not really doing anything with little kids. – ok that didnt come out right but you know what I mean.

    Online answering service? The way you said that makes me think there is already a plugin or something for that? Would that be right?

    You might try some plugin searches like “answer service”, customer service”, “contact service”, “classroom”, “agency” or whatever else might come to mind as any element or part of what you want to do.
