    Howdy,

I have inherited a multisite wordpress site and I am pretty new to admin of wordpress. The site is a community version and we are looking to find an alternative to hosting on-prem. We currently have about 50 sites but only six of the sites are requesting that we preserve them so I’m looking to move the six sites to a Saas solution, possibly with wordpress.com.

So, does wordpress.com “business” solution support multisite? I assume it does if the community version does. If so, I have seen links describing how to move a multisite site from one server to another multisite server so I’m hoping it’s as simple as what they make it out to be when migrating from our on-prem site to a Saas site.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

As far as I am aware, while WordPress.com is built using Multi-Site, it does not offer multi-site installations.
WordPress VIP should be able to support a multi-site installation.

That having been said, the volunteers on the WordPress.org forums are not equipped to support any premium (paid) products.
Please contact the folks at WordPress.com directly for any queries, including pre-sales queries:

I’m sure that they would be very happy to help you over there 🙂
