Advice on updating

    Brad, Howzit…

    I’ve been following the threads for the past few weeks and noted lots of issues with the updates. Is it now safe to update to the latest version of Foo gallery? Is there anything I need to look out for, any particular plugins that might have been casuing conflicts?

    I’m keen to update, just want to be as sure as can be it is safe. 🙂

    howzit Stephen,

    There have been quite a lot of issues with people updating, and most of the problems are due to either caching plugins or conflicting themes/plugins where there are javascript errors on the page which halt foogallery JS from loading.

    After you update, please clear/flush any cache plugin you may be using.

    If you notice a javascript error on your page and foogallery is not loading, then please try this:

    1) Goto FooGallery settings
    2) Under advanced tab, enable Custom Ready event
    3) Save settings

    If the problem persists, then open a ticket with details and I can help further
