Advice on a theme?

Hi! I’m not sure if this forum is the place to ask for advice on which theme to use, but I’m having a difficult time choosing one that will compliment the purpose of my blog. Does anyone have any advice on a theme that would work for a compare and contrast (specially, comparing one city to another about food/fashion/style/overall living. So the theme would almost have a split screen look? This may not exist without going custom. Any suggestions?
