Advice: blog page

    Hi all,

    First of all, I do have the pro version, but often have to delete and reinstall it every update and would prefer to just use the regular version.

    I have a site for a non-profit organization using Elementor and Generatepress and would like to add a blog. I don’t want to resort to just using the wordpress format, and I’ve tried using the wordpress recent posts widgets but sometimes the links don’t work and it’s not the cleanest look.

    Blogging is not a big part of our organization but I’d like a way to just add post titles and posts (about 5 to a page) with a more seamless reader experience. Has anyone else played around with this?

    There are a number of Display Post plugins that are compatible with Elementor. They have features to show titles, authors, excerpts and so on. Some are short Code based and can be placed anywhere on the page you like. You can also filter per category. Display Post Shortcode is very flexible. Last time I looked, it said it wasn’t tested with the latest version but it is working fine for me. I also use Recent Post widget but have not run into issues.
