 * I’m going to be creating a blog for must watch videos from around the web. I’ve
   run forums before but this will be my first blog. Does anyone have any advice,
   tips, do’s, don’ts, what plugin you’d recommend etc for me?

 * Those are very general questions so rather difficult to answer. My advice would
   be just start – install WordPress and start building and experimenting. If you
   have any specific questions as your building your site you can always ask in 
   these forums.

 * Haha i suppose i did ask a very vague question. Ok my first question is what 
   type of advertising should i do for a video blog?
 * I was going to the usual: advertise on advertisement/webmaster forums, advertise
   in my signature, affiliate trading.
 * Does anyone know any sites or ways i can advertise?
 * I was thinking of posting a specific video from my blog onto another site or 
   forum. For example if i had a blog about gadgets i’d post one of my articles 
   on a gadget forum saying something like ‘Anyone seen this…. blah blah blah….’.
   Does anyone know any sites or forums which are relevant enough for me to do this?

 * If you’re looking to advertise on like-niche forums, I recommend you to simply
   do a search on your own. It would be a good opportunity for you to acclimate 
   yourself with your niche. Not sure if ‘gadget video’ is your niche but IMO, that’s
   not precise enough for you to gain any traction anyway.
 * If your concern is whether or not a site is worthy of your advertising dollars,
   one metric people use is PageRank (PR). Obviously the higher the PR, the more
   you’re going to have to pay as well.
 * You can use browser plugins to see the PR of each page.
