I need to promote my site and start to earn income from it. I saw a Komoona plug in and I also have ad sense. What is the best to use?

As for ads, it all depends on your needs. Adsense is easiest to start with.

The easiest way to use adsense is just to set up your ad over there, and take the code they give you and drop it into a text widget on your sidebar

As for SEO, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/ is byy far my favourite
