  • Hey there,

    I’m having some trouble with the Pinboard theme on site: TwoAdultsTwoChildren.com.

    I would like the adverts in the header to appear to the right of the logo, in the space next to it, and not underneath the logo.

    Is there a way to make the ads float/hover in this way?

    Thanks in advance

  • Get rid of the “float: right;” and try:

    #sidebar-header {
       margin-top: -100px;
    }

    Thanks for the quick reply,

    The ad now goes in the middle of the logo.
    Also, I accidentally deleted the css for #sidebar-header.

    Any other ideas?

    Where are you making these changes – you should only be ADDING the CSS to the child theme style.css file.

    OK, I’ve recovered the script.

    I’ve changed it to margin-top: -100px; like you said. Should I change it to something like -150px or -200px?

    EDIT:

    Changing the ‘-VALUEpx’ just shifts it up the page.

    Is there a way of utilising the space to the right of the logo, and using that as a section for adverts?

    Hey, can anyone help?

    These are 100% volunteer forums, this is a Sunday and many people are asking for help. If you need faster help, you should consider hiring someone.

    Or try using a browser tool like Firebug to help you sort out the CSS issues.
