  • Maybe simplicity for beginners

If you already know a bit about CSS you have the ability to change directly on the editor.

But if CSS is not your biggest strenght you can use the plugin, is like another file with higher priority of your current css, so every style that you put in the plugin will have a higher priority than the current CSS.

I hope this answer your question, if not feel free to ask more details 🙂

Plugins like Simple Custom CSS are essential if you want to make CSS changes but don’t feel like making a Child Theme. If you make changes to a theme’s CSS without first making a Child Theme, your changes will be overwritten the next time the theme is updated.

    Hi everyone,

I’d also add that these styles will remain in place even if you switch the theme, so if you style a plugin a certain way, those styles won’t change.

    Thanks!

    John
