 * Ping, Conflicts & Reset are pretty self explanatory but can you give a little
   guidance as to (if and or when) Flush Rewrite Rules, and Clearing Post and Term
   Caches would be needed?

 * Hi, those can resolve issues when sitemaps are not working or display wrong (
   or old) information. None of the tools should really be needed in normal operation.
