    Hello Support,
I just migrated my sermons from “Sermons Manager – WP For Church” to Advanced Sermons. I am still using the free version for now. However, I used to automatically send out a newsletter to subscribers using MailPoet whenever I created a new sermon on the website. After migrating my data I am not able to locate the sermons in the posts to modify my newsletters. Also, they do not appear on my blog page so I am not sure if they are actually classified as “Posts”.
Can you provide some guidance on this?

The quote below was received from MailPoet in response to the same query I posted above.
So I see that you are using the ‘Automatic Latest Content’ widget. In the drop-down menu, you can select to display Posts, Pages, Media, Products, or other ‘Custom Post Types’ registered on your site. Note that we only support custom post types that are searchable on the front end.

Since you cannot find your sermons under Posts it means that they are probably being saved in another way, probably on another Custom Post Type. You will want to reach out to the Advanced Sermons team and share the information that I have highlighted above with them.

Can you advise if your plugin is compatible with MailPoet or what the custom post type should be?

    Hello @jahrat,

The ‘post’ custom post type is a default post type created by WordPress. Advanced Sermons utilities it’s own post type which is called ‘sermons’.

Based on MailPoet’s response, you need to select the correct post type. If they only support post types that are searchable, unfortunately this is only a feature that is available in the Pro version of Advanced Sermons which would need to be enabled under ‘General settings’ once installed and activated.

We personally have not tested the plugin with MailPoet so we can not guarantee its compatibility.
