• Hi There,

We offer web design services to our clients and we want them to be able to order online and either pay straight away via paypal or submit the order form for one of the team to check over and respond to. Here’s how I see it working.

On the first page will be a brief form which allows the user to pick the features they want for their website (number of pages, contact forms, ecommerce etc) and see a running total of how much their project will cost instantly calculated at the bottom of the form.

Upon submitting this form they are taken through to the full order form which has pulled through the information they input in the first form and presents them with fields to allow them to add more detail to what they are looking for in a website. At the bottom of this page will be a pay now with paypal button as well as a submit button.

How do I go about pulling the data from form one to form two (I could do this on a static site but wordpress is a bit trickier) and is it possible to have the dynamically generated price pull through to paypal when they push the button? Finally when they push either the paypal button or the submit button on the second form I want an email to be sent to the team with the form details on it, how would I go about doing this?

    Sorry for the long post.

    Thanks

  • You probably want to look at form plugins that do multi-page forms. I have used Gravity Forms to do exactly what you’re wanting to do, with excellent results.
