Advanced gallery – image could not be loaded

    I am suddenly receiving errors when using the advance gallery that state “the image could not be loaded”. The link setting is “custom” with each image in the gallery linking to a new page. When clicking on the image, instead of going to the new page I receive the error that the image could not be loaded. If I CTRL-click the image then it works fine, opening the link in a new tab.
    This page is updated daily and the error was only noted today. The only changes since the last update were some changes to some of the user roles (which should only affect logged in users – this error occurs to all users) and an update to the Pinnacle theme to version 1.8.2. could the updated theme be causing the issue?
    Have tried in both Chrome and Edge (Windows) and Chrome (Android)

    Hello,

    I can confirm that I was able to replicate the issue. This is probably because of the Pinnacle theme overriding the galleries.

    For now, I have sent a note regarding it to the development team so they can check further and possibly release a fix in the next updates. We’ll update you once we hear back from them.

    I’m facing the same issue on our blog. The custom links used to work earlier. Do you have any updates on this?

    Apologies for the delay.

    I just want to notify you that there is now a new version for the free Pinnacle theme(Version: 1.8.4). This update has added a fix for the issue with custom links for the Advanced Gallery block.
