Alright, after searching and working through some pages, and spending about 8 hours search in the web, I'll try to explain what I'm searchin for.

    A customer want's the following:

There's a wordpress site which starts wich an image, below this image there's an image-slider with thumbnails of several galleries. When you're clicking on this thumbnail it links to the gallery page.

And when you're on this gallery page you have the following view:

On the left is a single image shown and on the right hand there's a gallery-view on which thumbnails related to this gallery are shown. When you're clicking on one of these thumbnails you get a new single-image on the left.

I hope I said it clearly. If there're any questions, you're welcome.

I also described the problem in my blog and there's also a picture for what I'm searchin for.

I think I'll take the jquery gallery "Galleriffic" and try to put it into a plugin. When I'm done, or if there're any suggestions or solvings I appreciate for those!

Well, I'll make it public then.

The easy way is to look at your code with WordPress HTML setting (instead of the Visual setting).

Often when you paste a code (like the one posted on Nextgen Web site : http://nextgen-gallery.com/templates/carousel/nggallery/image/freigestellt-jpg/) you also paste other character code such as Bold, Italic, Underscore...

In the HTML mode paste : [nggallery id=X template=carousel images=X] without any other extra coding and make shure to replace the "X" by the gallery number and the number of sub image found at the bottom.

I hope this help you out.

Well I just did it and it behaves like it should. But one thing's missing:

I want on to display the current image number and the number of images in gallery.

    How can I solve that?
