Hello @zabavljaev,
We have checked the same at our end and it seems to be working fine. Please refer to this screenshot.
We’re not sure why it is not displaying an active state at your end.
Would you mind opening a ticket with us from here, so that we can have a closer look?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Sweta
I’m sorry to trouble you! This happens for me both on the local server with a “clean theme” and on the existing site, but the “Wide width” and “Full width” buttons work correctly. This happens in Chrome, Firefox, IE. Something strange is happening. For example, in the standard “Cover” block, the fixed background does not work in the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox, but it works in IE11 … I use an Asus laptop with Windows10. But I don’t think the reason is in the laptop.
I sent a request. You can see the problem on this test site: http://s91573pd.bget.ru/?page_id=883
I tried to open a site on Netbook (Asus Windows 7 x32) in the latest version of Google Chrome browser. Buttons still do not work, but a fixed background works in the standard “Cover” block … http://s91573pd.bget.ru/?p=1 It’s weird
Hello @zabavljaev,
I checked the alignment buttons at my end and it seems the active state is not visible in the back-end of the alignment.
I have assigned a task for this to the concerned developer and it will be fixed in our upcoming updates. Your patience and co-operation are highly appreciated.
About the Cover block, I would request you to kindly report it to the Gutenberg Team as it is a Core Gutenberg block.
Hope the above information helps. Let us know if you need anything else.

Rajkiran
Hello! Many thanks! About the cover block I wrote just for an example. I previously reported here https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/49891#ticket
You are most welcome @zabavljaev!
Please let us know if you need anything else in the future.
We are always there for you.
Regards,
Rajkiran
